I was drawn to the word eventide because of its great potential as a metaphor for the idea of calming the tides but actually its a noun that means “the end of the day; evening.” Which upon learning made me love the word even more because what I want for all my clients is to look back with pride and contentment at the end of the day; hopefully they carved time for joy and laughter and that they feel in control of their emotions and behaviors.

I’m Jeannine Haney, a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor based in Brevard County, Florida, with a focus on helping clients heal. I work with adults and teens experiencing anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, difficulty concentrating, irritability, and social withdrawal—symptoms that often stem from unresolved trauma, loss, or disrupted attachment.

I work best with individuals and families who are ready to explore how the past may still be impacting their present—especially those navigating life after adoption, foster care, or involvement in the child welfare system. Many of my clients are seeking support in building connection, trust, and emotional safety, both within themselves and in their relationships. As we gently peel back the layers of pain, fear, and emotional triggers, you may begin to notice a ripple effect—especially in how you relate to others, and most importantly, how you feel about yourself.

Whether you’re carrying a heavy story, working to heal relationships, or simply trying to feel more like yourself again, I offer a space where all parts of you are welcome. You don’t need to have the right words—you just need to show up. We’ll take the rest one step at a time.
