Ever feel like your emotions come in waves—rising without warning, crashing hard, and leaving you struggling to breathe?
For many adults, especially those who’ve lived through trauma, emotions can feel unpredictable and overwhelming—like tides beyond your control.
At Eventide Therapy, I create a calm, supportive space where you don’t have to brace against the storm alone.
Whether you’re navigating the long echoes of trauma, managing anxiety, or simply feeling worn down by life’s weight, therapy can help you reconnect to your strength and steady your internal world.
I’m Jeannine Haney, a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor based in Brevard County, Florida, with a focus on helping clients heal. I work with adults and teens experiencing anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, difficulty concentrating, irritability, and social withdrawal—symptoms that often stem from unresolved trauma, loss, or disrupted attachment. As a trauma-informed and culturally responsive counselor, I support teens and adults navigating depression, anxiety, relationship challenges, and identity-related stress.
Throughout my career, I have worked with a diverse clientele, including children and adults, couples, and families, suffering from a wide range of issues such as anxiety, depression, grief and loss, relationship conflicts, and trauma. I integrate cognitive-behavior therapy, solution-focused, evidence-based techniques. I am particularly skilled in helping clients navigate life transitions, manage stress, and develop effective coping strategies.
I work best with individuals and families who are ready to explore how the past may still be impacting their present—especially those navigating life after adoption, foster care, or involvement in the child welfare system. Many of my clients are seeking support in building connection, trust, and emotional safety, both within themselves and in their relationships. I enjoy supporting clients in achieving meaningful and lasting improvements in their mental well-being. As we gently peel back the layers of pain, fear, and emotional triggers, you may begin to notice a ripple effect—especially in how you relate to others, and most importantly, how you feel about yourself.
Whether you’re carrying a heavy story, working to heal relationships, or simply trying to feel more like yourself again, I offer a space where all parts of you are welcome. Just show up, we’ll take the rest one step at a time, working together to build insight, process pain, and reconnect with your inner strengths.
e·ven·tide
/ˈēvənˌtīd/
I was drawn to the word eventide because of its great potential as a metaphor for the idea of calming the tides but actually its a noun that means “the end of the day; evening.” Which, upon learning, made me love the word even more. What I want for all my clients is to look back with pride in the hard work they have done...at the end of the day. Hopefully, they carved out time for joy and laughter, they feel in control of their emotions and behaviors, and most of all have silenced those negative thoughts.
